Every family has stories that deserve to be remembered. The people who came before us faced challenges, made decisions, experienced triumphs and failures, and left behind lessons that helped shape who we are today. Preserving those memories is another form of stewardship.
Family history is more than names, dates, and photographs. It is about understanding the lives of ordinary people, the places they called home, the values they carried, and the legacy they left for future generations. By recording and sharing these stories, we help ensure they are not lost with the passage of time.
The links below lead to two of my family history projects. It’s All Relative explores genealogy, family stories, and historical discoveries, while Letters from a Foxhole preserves the experiences and correspondence of an earlier generation during wartime. Together, they reflect my belief that caring for the past is an important part of stewarding the future.
